As the temperatures continue to drop and the Winter Solstice draws near, my oven and stove seem to be fired up non-stop. All I want to do is bake, braise, stew and roast. In colder weather our bodies experience changes in energy levels, metabolism, and food preferences. We tend to crave foods that warm and comfort us.
